WAMEGO RED RAIDERS 1967-68 DEDICATION It is with great pride that the 1967-68 WA-KAW is dedicated to the only undefeated basketball team in the state of Kansas, the Wamego Red Raiders. The four goals set at the beginning of the season were the winnings of: 1. Dodge City Tournament of Champions 2. Big Seven League 3. Regionals 4. Class A State Championship Under the leadership of Coach Paul Markham and Assistant Coach Jim Ethington, the victorious Red Raiders triumphantly accomplished these goals with an astounding amount of teamwork and skill. This is the first time in the history of Wamego basket- ball that the Raiders have brought home the State Class A Championship. 4

PAT DEWEESE Secretary DOWNTOWN OFFICE The achievement of the smooth-running school system of Wamego High owes much to the board members. Here are a few of their duties: supervising of in- struction, budgeting of all the money, taking care of personnel problems, policy making, distributing of work, and coordinating transportation.
