Through this year's Wa-Kaw we hope to impress upon you memories that will lin- ger throughout future years. To add to the enjoyment and betterment of the yearbook, many new features have been added. We now have padded covers and extra autograph pages. Though it has not been the custom in previous years, each class member is indexed in the Wa-Kaw. We would like to extend opr many thanks to the faculty and administration for their cooperation in scheduling time for taking pictures, to Mr. George Alexander for his numerous trips to the school to take pictures, and to the school board for their finan- cial help. Through the long, hard working hours that staff members and advisor have put forth to produce such a yearbook, we sincerely hope that you enjoy the 1967-68 Wa-Kaw of Wamego High School. 2 TABLE OF CONTENTS FOREWORD ...................... Class A State Championship Under the leadership of Coach Paul Markham and Assistant Coach Jim Ethington, the victorious Red Raiders triumphantly accomplished these goals with an astounding amount of teamwork and skill.
