Stewart. On November 30, 1956, the Junior Class presented the play, Big Hearted Herbert, in the high school auditorium. This three-act play was directed by Mr. L. A. Dyson, the student director was Karen Wille. Ted Childers and Bonnie Stewart had the leads. The other members of the cast included Richard Mertz, Jim Mertz, Sharolyn Sanborn, Judy Duncan, Fred Kaul, Tom Tyler, Rosanne Breymeyer, Carol Hupe, Everett Harmer, John Mertz, and Carolyn Griffin. D TYPING ll Published bi-monthy during the school year, the CHIEF had a circulation of about 225 copies. The paper was set up for typing by the staff and was edited by Carol Hupe and the staff's advisor, Mrs. Bruton. The typing and mimeographing were done by the Typing ll class. Resolved: That the federal government should sustain the prices of the rnaior agricultural products at not less than 90W of parity. This is the question which the high school debaters studied and debated on with the assistance of their coach, Mr. Dyson. Eleven students won letters in debate by being in four tournaments.
