After an intensive two-day inspection lmy a twenty member evaluation committee of educators, Vvaltrip High School was awarded a usuperiorw rating. The school was judged on each department, on the Community response, on the physical plant, and on several other bases. Officially inspected and approved, the name and functions of Stephen P. Waltrip Senior High were rc-vorded in the files of the Texas State Board of Education at the state capital.
