Together — Just For The Fun Of It! Classes, books, studying, tests, homework, homework and more homework. These were a definite part of our days and nights in 1987-88. When it was time, we all worked very hard. But we played hard, too. Between the classes, teachers, and hours of study, W-VHS kids found time to get together, to laugh, play, and simply have fun doing whatever we wanted. There were ball games, parties, dances, and movies. We always had time to have fun and celebrate life together. (Left) Behind the sunglasses are Robert Strunk and Michelle Fountain. One School, Many Faces: We Shared The Joy! “Life’s tough!” we’re often told. “Only the strong survive.” We’ve heard it a thousand times. It’s true: life is a drag sometimes. But the tough times are easier to take if you can share them with friends. By the same token, the good times are sweeter if they’re shared. We did a lot of sharing in 1987-88. We shared the excitement of those first days of school — before the drudgery set in. We shared the fun of pep rallies, ball games, dances, Hal- loween, Hawaiian day, Homecoming, the Prom. We cheered championship performances in Scholastic Challenge, cross-country, basketball, baseball, and track. In victory and defeat, in cheering and weeping, we were always togeth- er.
