They are constantly working (we forget sometimes of the mess we students and faculty can make), but they are never too busy to be a friend. Mr. Grubbs and his wife have two children, Kirt who is a computer programmer, and Rob who is a cabinet-maker. He graduated from Walton- Verona High School in 1953. He attended Centre College in 1957. In 1963 he attended Xavier University. Mr. Grubbs has had other duties at other schools such as: Director of Pupil Personnel, Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, and teacher. All Teachers, Faculty, and Students of Walton- Verona Schools wish John Grubbs a very happy retirement! Frank Lyons: Mr. Frank Lyons has been with Walton-Verona High School from 1978 to 1987. Mr. Lyons is a graduate of Bath County High School. He has a bachelors degree at Morehead State University. He attended University of Kentucky Radiological School, Xavier University Graduate School, and Rank 1 Study. In addition to being principal of Walton-Verona High School, he has been a teacher, coach, vice-principal, and principal of other schools as well.
