The Dawn 1985 9Srj • ax “JJf gjj' gg IJiBJ v mmmamm DaiECKsxaS ' ■ Our lives at Wallon-Verona High School have been much like the life of an Olympic athlete. Much oj an athlete's lime is spent training in a gym. The student's time is spent in the classroom, training for those big tests and pop quizes. Along the way students get help from their coaches.” Coaches often take many dif- ferent forms. Some appear as teachers, others as friends and parents. As usual the coaches, no matter what form, all have the same idea. This idea can best be expressed in a simple line: GO FOR THE GOLD! Walton-Verona High School School Road Walton, Kentucky 41094 Cover and Artwork by Tom Kaelin Mary Jo Mitchell came to Walton-Verona only five years ago hut has already left her mark on the faculty and students at Walton-Verona High School. Mary Jo is a dedicled. intelligent, sincere, and pleasant person. She is respected by her co-workers and loved by many. Mary Jo adds zest to everything she does with a friendly smile and a kind word for anyone who enters her life. To know Mary Jo should be considered an honor.
