cUss will We, the Seniors of 1955, being of sound mind, that is, nearly sound, knowing that we are the most unpredictable and probably the most lovable class ever to leave Walton-Verona High, wish to leave our last will and testament to be executed in the order that follows: To Mr. Ward-We leave the old office, hoping he has a new one soon. To Mr. Smith-We leave the pleasant memories of each of us, with hopes he will find more like us. To Mr. Vest-We leave 100 laps around the gym. To Mr. Day-We leave a larger Senior English Class. To Mrs. Conner-We leave a trunk to take the place of her purse. To Mrs. Shields-We leave a Spanish Class without Senior Boys. To Mr. Roberts-We leave a notebook and pencil to take names for detention. To Sam Vest, Our Janitor-We leave a pack of cigarettes to smoke during school periods. To Herman Caldwell, We leave the rest of the coal to keep the new school warm. To the Cooks-We leave the old cafeteria and a few new recipes. To the Freshmen-We leave the pleasant memories of a short Initiation Day, which we hope they will remember always. To the Sophomores-We leave a reserved bench at the State Tournament in “1957”. To the Juniors-We leave a new Coke Room, which we think is badly needed. To the following Juniors individually: Gene McCubbin leaves his big blue eyes to Russell Amerson.
