The Year Book, you must surely see, Quoth one, while passing through the halls, The content each new term is changed, So that it might yet better bel Oh, those who program every class, To give the students what they want, Must truly wond'rous women be, For grateful is each eighth term lass. l sallied forth with woeful face, To right all wrongs in every place. My wand'ring soon came to a halt, On chancing these strange words to hear, My darlings just don't have the time: I'm sure it's really not their fault. Then quoth another, But, you see, The time for Class Night now is near: The dancers, actors must rehearse- So that our work a joy will be. Oh, quickly did I soon depart, To wander forth until I met A lady who a Year Book scanned, To make the tome more rich in art. And then there came one, in my sight, Who floated as in airy space With joyous thoughts of ballrooms filled, And couples dancing all the night.
