2 Opening There is a spirit in our school. At times it is a quiet one, found in unexpected places, it is a part of us, as we are of it. We thank you —the students, the staff, the community, and Crush international, Inc. —for being a part of this spirit, for we are proud. 3 4 Opening f Crush Pride Oldies but Goodies Class of '88 Class of'87 Class of '86 Class of '85 Class of '84 A Word from our Sponsors Walton Olympians Eager Beavers The Best for Last A Feeling of Spirit Whereto Find Who UiOJd 9 Planning... building... 9 10 Homecoming The Walton warriors emerged victorious on Homecoing Day. CD U) CD LU September rolls around and a new group of excited vet questioning faces enters the halls of WCS. Often pushed, shoved, stomped, and trampled on, our 7th graders accus- tom themselves to the ups and downs of high school life, involving themselves in Homecoming, the Christmas assembly, and other such school events, this year's 7th grade class has emerged as the competi- tive class of '88. With the superb leadership of Kelly Reynolds (Pres.), Sue Gregory (V.P), Eric Hall (Treas.), and Teresa Mead (Sec.), they have shown their support for Walton High. They may be a little short, but not in spirit! 42 Class Of '88 I. Allen A. Arnold D. Bailey J. Bailey R. Bell T. Bennett T. Benson E. Bodlsco-Masslnk E. Brennan C. Breslln B. Brown W. Brown R. And if you happen to find furry little creatures stuffed in small unseen places, you know the class of '87 has been at it again with their stuffed animal sale. Eager to raise funds for future events, they took on a cookie-sale, the tempta- tion of eating often being greater than the task of selling! Between struggling to comprehend chemistry and considering college and future plans, the juniors kept themselves busy. And who ever fully adjusts to having three English teachers in one year??? Finally, with monetary aid from the seniors (thanks guys), the incredible Class of '84 succeeded in produc- ing the best prom ever. It is not as easy as it looks — mailing out those applications on time, getting measured for cap and gown, ordering portraits and in- vitations — and what better ex- cuses to not attend that class you're so fond of! It is a tense and emotionally trying time, worrying about that college acceptance or future job, and then finally having to say good-bye. Looking back, there are mem- ories of a first-place Homecom- ing float, successful magazine sales (although you didn't shave your head, Bob), a romantic prom evening, and plans for those final days at Walton High.
