watching and waiting 1972 walton central school I watching and waiting, for a friend to play with why have i been alone so long watching and waiting, for someone to understand me i hope it won’t be very long 7 homecoming '71 Mr. O'Neill came to Walton Central School in 1929 as a busi- ness teacher after receiving a life certificate from Plattsburgh. In 1939 he was named Vice-Principal. During this period, he served as District Principal, Director of Adult Education, Federal Coordinator, and participated in the School to School program with Italy. He became actively involved inthe Walton school's program, devoting many hours to the planning and construction of the Townsend School edition, the school bus garage, and the Junior - Senior High School. He also served on the Advisory Committee to the Commissioner of Education for two years. Mr. O'Neill made great contributions to the growth and de- velopment of Walton Central School. He dedicated his entire life to the betterment of education in Walton. In memory of this fine man, the yearbook staff proudly dedicates this yearbook to Thomas H. O'Neill. 18 IZ 61-9061 11PM 0 H smU«U 61 board of education Mr. Adams Mr. Jackson Dr. Eells Dr. Huvler Mr. Camp Mrs. Moore Mr. Petersen 20 Mr. Roney, Principal guidance department Mr. Koska Mr. Liguori Mrs. Harby Mrs. Oles Mrs. Vanderhoof • Mrs. Palmquist sr. high english science Mr. Burgin, Mr. Howard, Mr. Dries, Mr. Spear, Mrs. Kirby Mr. Murdock, Mrs. Miller, Mr. Sherwood I a n 8 u a 8 e 23 24 Mrs. Gad wood, Mrs. Popp, Mr. Blackmon, Mrs. Matalavage, Mrs. business Mr. Tabor, Mrs. Schermerhorn, Mr. Boducti music Mrs. Rose, Mr. Wilcox, Mr. Jamieson core program Mr. Fleischer Mr. O'Connell Mr. Didominick 27 Mrs. DuMond Mrs. Howard class Mr. Belzer Mr. Bartlett Mr. Russell Mr. Swart special industrial arts 29 rj Mrs. Schmidt Mrs. Peaster staff Mrs. Taylor Mrs. Cook Mrs. Kipp Mrs. Signor Mrs. Leuhmann maintenance Mt.
