Arriving late at the PSL relay competition and having no time to properly warm up, the Broncos, neverthe- less, quickly captured the first place trophy. Several school records fell at every meet. Doug Dumler entered the discus competition for the first time in his life and threw it 140 2X3 feet breaking the school rec rd by about l0 feet. Chuck Dreessen broke his own recor with a 4:42.8 mile. The most amazing record is Walther's omination of the PSL. A first place finish this year would e the fifth consecutive track championship.
