HOMECOMING '65-got scratched hands from rebellious chicken wire smiled in amusement as posters with big, blue footprints appeared all over school . . . ordered mums on the cafeteria stage . . . compared floats and cars and tried to choose the prize vvin- ners . . . vvaved to the shoppers on 19th Avenue . . . admired Bruce's horse . . . added more tape to signs in defiance of the wind. .. huddled under blankets in an attempt to keep vvarm . . . raced to put up convertible tops when the rain started . . . bought hot chocolate as fast as the Men's Club could make it . . . cheered loudly, then groaned as the Broncos were defeated in the last few seconds . . . relaxed while enjoying the good food and the warm atmosphere at the Smorgasbord . . . congratulated Jan and Wendy on one of the best Homecomings in Walther's history.
