Memorial Dedication Fondest Memories of 0ur Friend Ricky Poirier To have known him was to have loved him, He made you feel next of kin. His days of life were full of love, With the light of his love like the flight of a dove He fought hard to win his battle, Ready and willing with bull and saddle. Why so young and eager at heart, As he pushed and pushed that hefty cart. Harder and harder were we to pray, Hoping our voices were heard each day. Our voices were heard hour after hour, When Ricky was taken and given special power His friendship remains within our minds, For he was much more than kind, Memories we share are stronger than force, That we some day will also follow his course. As different each course can and will be, We share and cherish each memory. In Memory of Our Friend Greg Aborn God took you from this earth Without explaining why. There must have been a reason Why he chose you to die. You were such a young man With a whole life to live. You never did take much Yet you had so much to give. You'll always be remembered By that twinkle in your eye, That silly smirk, your sense of humor lt's hard to say good-bye. Those of us who knew you well Are hurting deep inside, For we've lost such a dear friend Whom we'll remember with pride. We love you, oh, so dearly And know you love us, too. You'll always be remembered And our happy days are few. A Special Friend Diane Weeks lf only God had let us know How little time there was We would have made you understand How much you meant to us. You brought a lot of happiness To everyone you knew. I only hope we let you know, How much we all loved you. Our memories are precious ones Secured within our hearts Of a friendship that was dear to us With these memories we'II never pa rt. Although you are not with us now Together we'II always be ln the hearts and minds of all of us For all eternity.

For the past five years my one goal for the yearbook was to pro- duce a book complete with theme, A art work, and purpose. This past l year my editors, Carol Corcoran, Mary Coyle, Joanne Mula, and Lisa Strazzullo helped me to obtain this goal. Mary, the force behind our open- ing section, participated in Senior Revue, and was co-author of the Senior Notes. At Graduation Exer- cises, she received over S5000 in scholarships, including one from Wellesley College which she will attend in the fall. Mary coordinated all the copy in the book and, thanks to her, our book is uniform in scope. Lisa was a member of the Junior Prom Committee and worked in the house office during her sophomore and junior years. At Graduation Exercises Lisa received two scholar- ships totaling 5500. She will attend St. Elizabeth's Hospital School of Nursing in the fall. Carol was very active in school, par- ticipating in Crimsonettes, Jazz Chief- Joanne Mula The 1978 Mirror Staff Ensemble, Senior Revue, and Hockey Cheerleading. She was Class Treasurer for two years and a member of the National Honor Society. At Graduation Exercises, Carol received over S3000 in schol- arships, including one from Boston College which she will attend in the fall. Dorrie, our Golden Girl, was the star performer at half-time of the football games as a member of the Majorettes. Dorrie constantly gave of her time to do many undesira- i ble tasks that had to be done.
