Girls' Sports Editors Beth Shinnick and Chris Hays Chris was active in sports participating in track as a sophomore, and skiing and tennis for the past two years, serving as captain of skiing this year. Chris was a world traveler during her three years at WHS going such places as Cer- vinia, Italy, Chamonix, France, Montreal, and Bermuda. She also found time to join in the fun of Senior Revue. Chris will attend Simmons College in the fall. Beth was also very active in sports having been a three year member of the volleyball, skiing, and tennis teams serving as captain of tennis this year. She was just one of the many fine girl athletes in the class of 1977. Beth was quite a traveler in her own right having been to Montreal ftwicel , Chamonix, France, and Bermuda in the past three years. Beth received the Northeast Ele- mentary School Scholarship, and will attend Mass Bay in the fall. l Profiles Editor Nancy Duport History Editor Joanne Sabetti Candids Editor Valerie Centola Nancy was a football cheerleader and a member of the National Honor Society. The highlight of her senior year was her fun-filled week in Bermuda. Nancy received the Emblem Club of Waltham Scholarship and will attend Northeastern University in the fall. Joanne was a member of the Prom Committee during her junior and senior years. Joanne was also in Senior Revue and was a world traveler going to Montreal Ctwicej, Chamonix, France, and Bermuda. She will attend the Uni- versity of Mass at Amherst in the fall. Valerie Centola was a member of the cast of When Movies Were Movies and spent her April vacation in sunny Bermuda. Valerie will be attending Framingham State College in the fall. Activities' Editors Hanna Griff, David Hassett, and Laura Leblanc Hanna was a band member for the past three years and worked backstage at the Senior Revue. One of the highlights of her senior year was April in Paris. Hanna will attend Grinnell College in the fall. Dave was very active in school, being a three year member of the soccer team, Sophomore Class President, Boys Vice President Student Council 1977 and a member of the cast of Senior Revue. At Graduation Exercises Dave received the Horace Knight Scholarship and will attend the College of the Holy Cross in the fall. Laura LeBlanc was well known in drama, having participated in many drama productions. Laura received the Drama Department Acting Award and a School Committee Key. At Graduation Exercises Laura received the Class of 1977 Drama Scholarship and a Brandeis University Scholarship. This National Honor Society member will attend Brandeis University in the fall. S Assistant Editor Stephen Devincent Boys' Sports Editor Mark Hachey Stephen was active in school having been Chairman of the Junior Prom, a member of the boys' indoor and outdoor track teams and President of the National Honor Society. At Class Day Stephen was chosen Most Respected by his fellow seniors. At Graduation Exercises he received the School Com- mittee Key. Stephen will attend the University of New Hampshire in the fall. Mark played football for the past three years, the last two as a regular, and also was a member of the boys' outdoor track team for the past two seasons. Mark will attend Curry College in the fall.
