Appreciation The 1967 Mirror Staff thanks Mr. Vallely, the literary advisor, and Mr. Neylon, the business advisor. We appreciate the time and efforts they devoted to the Mirror. We are also grateful to Mrs. Keough, Mrs. Willett, the Main Office Staff, and the English Office Staff. Only with the help of these people was the 1967 Mirror able to go to the press.

In Memoriam While thinking of those gay and carefree days at Waltham High may we stop to re- member our fellow student, Leonard Correia. For our years at Waltham High have been tainted by the solemn thought that death is not reserved for adults but is ever imminent and can cut short the life of anyone. We will remember the carefree lad who walked quietly down the corridors, a nod of recog- nition in the hall, or a friendly poke. He enjoyed himself wherever he was: a quiet sense of humor and calm smile, always happy to meet others and make them feel relaxed. H-is calm and quiet are preserved forever in the halls of Waltham High. When thinking of Waltham High and its gaiety, think also of the tranquility and friend- liness which Leonard showed. Never let us think ourselves too great or too wealthy to give a friendly smile or poke in the arm in fun, for these will act as a living memorial to Leonard Correia.
