American Held Service America scored a touchdown. A strange mixture of yelling football fans, rushing ' I people, book reports, spelling tests, and elec- tion debates in the be- ginning, very soon the atmosphere of your school-of my school -became very famil- iar. ROLF STAHLHEBER No wonder! I got generous guidance and help from Mr. Gallagher, our headmaster, and from my homeroom teacher Mrs. Goldings, from Mademoiselle Dubois in French, and Mr. Hood in English, and especially from my A.F.S. faculty- advisor Miss McCullough, who taught me in U.S. History and in Problems of Democracy. You helped me to understand your school system, which is so entirely different in its stress upon social activities and sports. I enjoyed it, and I will miss it when I go back to Germany. I want to thank my teachers, the faculty, and above all, you for this year of pleasant and rich experiences. I won't forget it. A cheer for Waltham High, Rolf Stahlheber 7 A , f ., .r ff N 3 If -X! 1 f fm Zi ' ' ffbff L ' .L ' X97 ,gf , ff' f X L2 0 ?t' fs flu f 7 'li ff Z y L7 97 jf .riv I If l I ' X 5 5?'F- -'rap 1 4 N f.i 'a- s Q,-L1,3,f 5g5 f, 1.13, n ' - 2' f -.aa 9 t ' f , S .
