Sheehy, who served faithfully as our headmaster from 1953 to 1959. Mr.'Sheehy, ,f 4 a native of Dorchester, Massachusetts, graduated from Dartmouth College and 1 - 'iq x Harvard Graduate School. A . g i . U I 5 After two years in the business world Mr. Sheehy entered the field of education. 'C if 4 Before coming to Waltham High in 1928, he taught science, history, biology, and V' f' .if physics in Medway and Manchester. While at Waltham High Mr. Sheehy served as a teacher, class advisor, guidance counselor, master, and finally headmaster. After many years in his chosen profession, Mr. Sheehy retired in June 1959. , Since his retirement he has been in residence at West Yamrouth on Cape Cod.
