NCRTHEASTERN lUNllVERSI.TY DAY DIVISION COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS Offers a broad program of college subjects serving as a foundation for the understanding of modern culture, social relations, and technical achievement. The purpose of this program is to give the student a liberal and cultural education and a vocational competence which fits him to enter some specific type of useful employment. COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION Offers a college program with broad and thorough training in the principles of business with specialization in ACCOUNTING, BANKING AND FINANCE, or BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. Instruction is through lectures, solution of business problems, class discussions, motion pictures and talks by business men. I COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Provides complete college programs in Engineering with professional courses in the fields of CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, CHEMI- CAL, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, and ENGINEERING ADMINIS- TRATION. Students select, at the beginning of the Sophomore year, the course in which they intend to specialize. Co-operative Plan The Co-operative Plan provides for a combination of practical in- dustrial experience with classroom instruction. The student earns a por- tion of his school expenses and forms business contacts which prove val- uable in later years. Degrees Awarded Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Science EVENING DIVISION CFOR MEN AND WOMENJ Providing complete courses of university grade in business and law, for leigh srlaool graduates who jind it necessary to work during the day but wish to study for further advancement. - SCHOOL OF BUSINESS Programs in accounting, business ad- ministration, and combined law and business, under instructors actually en- gaged in the business that they teach. 73W of graduates hold executive posi- tions in business. Preparation for the C. P. A. examinations. School grants B. B. A. degree. Individual courses available to special students. SCHOOL OF LAW Four-year course. Confers the LL. B. degree. Graduates of this school eligi- ble for the Massachusetts Bar Exam- ination. Case method of instruction similar to that used in best day law schools. A School of high standards adapted to the needs of employed men and women. Alumni outstandingly success- ful as lawyers, judges, business execu- tives.
