l , E- alibi l F i FRESHMAN FOOLISHNESS The freshies had a very busy time this year. Fighting our way down the narrow hall-sit- ting on the backbone and yelling our lungs out in assemblies-band trips with crowded busses- courtin' couples and flashbulb cameras-pep club members yelling for the ball players-stuffing ourselves at our one and only picnic-and last but not least, congratulating ourselves on being Freshmen Cat lastl, but hasn't it all been fun? Our class joined with our fellow upper classmen the fahemll Sophomores to win first place with our float in the Armistice Day Parade. Our theme was the 45th Division. All the class pitched in and worked hard to sell chances, bake cakes, and beg, too, to help support our very attractive candidate for annual queen, Anne Crenshaw. Although we only won third we still had fun trying. We had twelve boys on the Junior High basketball team, five of which made up the main team. We also had the eleven main string players on the Junior High football team and also eight subs. We were very lucky to have as our sponsor, Mrs. Tom Kerr and Mrs. Pat Montgomery. Many thanks to them for being so nice and helpful.
