' G liitl 01' - L. - ' - 4 ' at Nur. , The F.F.A. started with a bang this year by taking the first place in judging teams in poultry at the state fair, along with having first place individuals. Then they lapsed into the trend of trying to learn how to milk a cow, feed the chickens and sow the wheat. The monotony was broken by a winning poultry-judging team at the Oklahoma City Poultry Show, with Jesse Shepard gaining first place individual. The local chapter plans to have a livestock show and sale around the sixteenth of March. There will be no prize money given for placing in the show but the business men have promised a top noch price for all livestock sold. A boxing tournament is planned again this year with trophies given in the different weight brackets. The proceeds are to be used to pay off the remainder of the debt on the new F F.A. barn, completed last spring. Plans are being made for Fred Harris to enter the State F F.A. Oratory Contest held at A. K M. College along with State F. E1 A. convention. The poultry team will judge in a contest held at the time of the convention at Stillwater. 5 -Inq mme i , T ' luv ---.q 'rr 1 , 3 za? 21 5453? ,W X ff? asf if 1 X , i I I 'Y fr ' 1 1 k X x y Qt me '-1 4 Q . i V '14 WALTEHS HIGH SCHOOL Llfklhl CLUB The year of '46 has been the Cradle for somethinw new in the hnlters High School Library.
