History Club The History Club is organized for the students interested in past heritage. One activity of the club this year is a visit to the Freedom Train in Charleston. Science Club The Science Club is an organization for the students interested in engineering and technology. Some highlights for the year are a trip to Canadys Steam Plant and a trip to the Medical University of South Carolina. Many activities go on during the school year. To add enjoyment to classes, extra-curricular plans are made. The chorus and band provide musical entertainment while skits promote humor and good will. This year participation was great and more interest was shown in the programs, football games, and concerts. ACTIVITIES 5

Foreign Language Club The Foreign Language Club is composed of students who are taking Spanish or French. The purpose of this club is to encourage interest in other languages and to learn about many different cultures. Future Homemakers of America Future Homemakers of America is a National Organization for students studying home economics in their junior and senior years of high school. Their over-all goal is to help individuals improve personal, family, and community living.
