FOREWORD What is WHS, what makes it different from any other school, what particular things go to make up WH$ in this particular year — these are the things the 1966 LAIR has tried to record, this year at school. The rush to classes, the thrill of winning the first home football game, the worry of what the first report card will show, the many hours spent on a research theme. College Boards, long homework assignments, scared new freshmen, brash sophomores, busy juniors, dignified and important seniors — these are the bits and pieces of our WHS kaleidoscope thot we have tried to record for your remembrance and reminiscence. Each facet of life at WHS — students, teachers, classes, extracurricular activities — has its own special place in making the kaleidoscope complete. All the pieces, when separate, are nothing; but when they arc put together, they make our school, unique and interesting. Each year is a new experience which can never be re- peated, and this 1966 LAIR is brought to you to help you remember and enjoy 1966 at WHS.
