3 orewor J ‘To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. 11 This time, as we complete our high school years, is A TIME TO REMEMBER -- the fun we had studying out under the trees, watching basketball games in the new gym, participating in Glee Club concerts, athletics, and academic contests ... A TIME TO WEEP -- over the football games we lost, the unexpected crowns, and even a few failures .. . A TIME TO LAUGH -- about that cute joke, a silly mistake, at club initiations, at teachers corny jokes .. . A TIME TO KEEP SILENCE -- daydreaming, taking a test, reminiscing, at prayer . .. A TIME TO SPEAK --to others daily, when you know the answer, to make that long-dreaded but hopefully-antici- pated graduation speech ... A TIME TO GET — knowledge, awards, honors, the foundation for our future lives .. . A TIMIE TO LOSE --a game now and then, your cherished place in class rank, that lazy feeling in spring ., . This is one of the most important times of our lives. This is the time of planting our ambitions and aspirations. It is the time to build high ideals and goals for future times. To many, these years at Walterboro High School have been a time of happiness, success, honor, love, and excellence. To others, it» has been a time of excessive W'ork and too much study. To all of us, it has been a wonderful time to remember. 4
