Through English and business math, the student specializes in essential training techniques needed to further a well rounded business education. Janie GasJkin Walk In every phase of daily life, from complicated formulas, derivations of scientists, to the purchasing of toothpaste at the drug store, math is a basic essential in our modern-day world. Keeping in step with the vast technological advances made in recent years, WHS for the first time offered this year a course in Advanced Math II. Also taught by the WHS math department are general math, algebra, geome- try, advanced algebra and trigonometry. Airs. Meryl B. Padgett Mr. Herman Mines Through the Vocational Department of WHS, students learn diverse skills essential for both col- lege and career-bound students. Courses offered are agriculture, home econom- ics, mechanical drawing, shop, wood, auto me- chanics, and plumbing. They are divided into three parts: Agriculture, headed by Mr. S. M.
