SUPERINTENDENT OF AREA II J. E. RINGER AREA II SCHOOL BOARD The Area II Board of Trustees meets the second Tuesday night of every month. It is the duty of the board to administer to the needs of the school, to set the policy of the school, to hire teachers, and to make re comm end at ions. Every school must have an organizing force at its head and our school is directed by the wisdom, inter- est, and efficiency of Mr. J. E. Ringer, superinten- dent of Area II, and Mr. A. NELL SIMMONS, The department offers civics, world his- tory, American history, and American government. Civics and American government explain the working of our system of legislature. World history is the story of mankind!s development from his earliest appear- ance on earth to his life in the twentieth century with special emphasis on the scientific, cultural, and ar- tistic accomplishments of each nation. American history goes into detail about the founding of our country and its growth. This helps the student under- stand things that are going on in the world around him.
