C. Blackwell. Due to the fact that the boys made these cement blocks themselves and furnished the labor, the cost comes to $1,000; whereas if the blocks had been bought and labor hired, the cost would have been $2,500. This achievement is one to which the boys can point with pride in the years to come as the com- munity utilizes the cannery. 19U-44 WUdcafy. 7ront Row, left to right: NAB BEERY,- Manager; HOLLON PLATT - Right end; THOMAS BERRY - Left end; CLYDE PADGETT - Right end; WENDELL GIBSON - Tackle; JIMMY PERRYMAN - Manager. econd Row, left to right: DBBY CARTER - Tailback; LLOYD MITCHELL - Tackle; HARRY WADE VARN - suard; ANDERSON KEARSE - Center; BILLY HAIR - Tali back; BILLY SAUNDERS - Fullback; SIDNEY HILL - GuardCECIL BRITT - Blocking- :ick; HORACE DRAWDY - Guard.
