For many of you this will be the last formal education that you will receive, but I would like to remind all of you that education continues until death whether it be formal or informal. I would like to discuss with you the meaning of two words, knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is information that has been acquired by study and observation; wisdom is the ability to form sound judgments and to put to use the knowledge which has been acquired. Each of us has different potential abilities which must be developed if we are to be successful. The seeking of know- ledge on the part of an individual is to be commended; however this is not enough to guarantee success. Wisdom along with know- ledge will enable you to be successful. The reputation of any school is made by its student body, faculty, and patrons. I believe that all three of the groups mentioned heretofore have worked extremely hard for Wellborn to have a good school program. Through the continued cooperation of these groups, our school is destined to have the instructional program desired by the community. I would like to close by challenging each of our graduates to bring credit to himself and his Alma Mater by examining some of the true values of life which in my opinion are Beauty, Truth, and God. After complete examination of the values mentioned above, I hope that each of you will always do the thing that you believe to be right. Sincerely, uf- W.B. Stepfufts Administrators WR „.0.
