GYMKHANA CLUB GIRL THLETIC ASSOCIATIO Those living masses seen tumbling and springing around the gym are not kangaroos-they are the gym classes attempting to develop skill in jumping up and down and rolling over. Actually, these seemingly antic exer- cises practiced on the trampoline and tumbling mats are an important part of the physical education curriculum, con- tributing to the development of balance and coordination. If students want to learn more than the ordinary knee drops and head stands, the Gymkhana Club is the place for them. The athletic members of this club advance to stunts such as the dou- ble twist and barrel roll, performing them also on the smaller mini-tramp. Carrying through with another aspect of the physical education classes, the Girls Athletic Association invites girls to join in order to participate further in sports such as hockey and basketball.
