Weaver A co-educational atmosphere prevailed during third and sixth periods every day with the meeting of the mixed chorus. The term mixed in this sense does not mean that they resembled a tossed salad, but rather that high soprano voices Were mixed with deep bass tones to produce the delight- ful mixture, auditory not gustatory, coming from room 110. The mixed chorus successfully sang at the PTA Christmas concert, an all-school Christmas assemb- ly which featured Silent Night in German, and the Spring concert. Membership in the Classical Music Club or Music Theory Club required neither a knowledge of Ger- man nor a sterling set of vocal chords. All that was needed was a desire for an appreciation and under- standing of good music. It might even appear as though members of the Music Theory Club were in effect mathematicians, studying triads, parallel fifths, and parallel fourthsg but these efforts were all directed to knowledge and enjoyment of music. First row: S. McCune, P. Rabinovitz, G. Lyman, B. Mueller, L. Clark. Second row: M. Sherline, B. Mitchell, B. Craig, J. Watson, J. Page A , CLASSICAL
