Junior-Q Class Council With 427 students in the Junior Class, representation in decisions affecting them is essential. To this end, the Junior Class Council exists. Through the homerooms, election of representatives provides a dem- ocratic choice of personnel. Money, or rather the lack of it, was the chief problem of the Junior Class Council composed of the elected representatives who include the class officers. Preparing for the heavy draw on the treasury during the senior year, the Council's main activities were directed toward raising money to meet these obligations. To supple- ment their funds, the Council sold WJ pennants and plastic bookcovers for the yearbook. Their most enjoy- able projects were sponsoring the junior dance in the spling and the glamorous Junior-Senior Prom at the end of the year. Meetings were called as necessity dictated. At these, the representa- tives planned their projects, which also included selling class rings.
