Di- rected by Rowie Durden, it has pre- sented to both the school and public m a n y programs, some of which were in coniunc- tion with the bond and orchestra, Band Chorus The W a l t e r Johnson band, un- der the direction of Rowie Durden, plays everything f r o m symphonic works to jazz. The band participated in Maryland Band Day and in an an- nual contest spon- sored by the Lions Club, as well as playing a concert to the school.
