students make movies in art of film Art of the Film courses were designed to alert the students to the nature, quality, influence, and creative potential of motion pictures. Students attended showings of special films at the public library and wrote reviews of selected ones. As a final project, each student produced his own film, utilizing the talents he had acquired during the year. Dramatics began with a brief sketch of the development of the theater from primitive man to the twentieth century. This course gave both terminal and college bound students the opportunity to participate in group and individual pantomines, extemporaneous talks, scenes, and discussions. Emphasis was placed on stage movement and oral projection. 1. Mr. Woodrow D. Carney, 2. Miss Martha S. Morris, 3.
