Individual Efforts Combined To Produce Team Victory. Football and basketball are the major sports at George, but there are other sports which deserve recognition. Baseball, tennis, and cross-country are very popular and important to the athletic depart- ment. This year, with the lack of last year ' s senior members, cross-country is rebuilding for future com- petition. The baseball team, after a good season last year, should be at the top of the league, while tennis should again have a profitable season on the courts.
