Tommy Costello, John Mills, Tommy Martin, Rav Hawkins, Barry Clower, David Kemmerer, Michael O ' Brien, Jeroid Evans, Mike West, Mike Dotson. The B-team under the coaching of Gary Wiesner played their way to a victorious season with four wins and one loss. Coach Wisener, new at George, has adapted well to his position. The B-team came from behind in four games to win with the Brown defeat highlighting the season. Their only loss was to Dykes, who was undefeated. Of the twelve touch- downs scored by the team, eleven were scored by John Fitz- gerald, a second-year B-team player. This set a school record and also marked the first time George has had a strong B- team. The school ' s football hopes look promising as these players prepare to move up to varsity positions. Young Falcons Combine Victory with Good Sportsmanship. ' This ain ' t no picn Lloyd Newman and Carl Davis relax after the last Saturday morning game of the season. The defeat of Bass and Brown highlighted the 8th grade season along with valiant effort in their other games. Headed up by Coach Harmon, the 8th grade team learned Varsity techniques and learned to apply these techniques on the gridiron. Although the 8th grade team was a small one, they hit with the potential of the Varsity with outstanding players such as Tommy Langford, Garry Moody, and Mike Green doing the ball handling and Art Marler, James Carlson, and Kim Bankston holding the line.
