Seated: Vicki Jones, Sheila Baldwin, Lynne Mathews, The Georgettes are the school ' s own distinctive pep squad. The group, under the direction of Cap- tain Sheila Baldwin, practiced dili- gently to orginate and perfect rou- tines. Dixie and The In Crowd were two of the routines carried out in conjunction with the band. Plans are now being made for try- outs for positions in next years Georgettes. Those aspiring to be Georgettes are judged on the basis of appearance, co-ordination and poise. New uniforms, selected in the summer, added a professional touch, to half-time performances. As a service project in the fall the Georgettes collected money for the Leukemia Drive.
