This years club, composed of forty-five juniors and seniors, have an academic average of 3.4 or above and have been recommended by the faculty for membership. Falconette chapter are To create enthusiasm for scholarship to stimulate a desire to serve, to promote leadership, and to instill exemplary qualities of character in the students of Walter F. George High School. Mrs. Bowman and Mrs. Bolin, English teachers a t George, sponsor the Falconette chapter of the Nation- al Junior Honor Society. Joyce Jones, Donna Lan The George Chapter of the Beta Club is a local chapter of the National Beta Club. The goal of this honorary is to emphasize scholarship, leadership, and service. To give recognition to students who exemplify these characteristics, the club plans to purchase honor cords for the graduation ceremony. Mrs. Joyce Hardy sponsors this club, numbering sixty-seven, with the aide of club officers, Danny Paulk, president and Elaine Parker, treasurer.
