By participation in these programs, students have an opportunity to grow in social responsibility and to respond to the needs of others. At George High, the Red Cross Club has made and decorated 50 Christmas stockings for the 36th Evacuation Hospital in Vietnam, made 75 Flash cards for the mentally retarded adults and stuffed 26 animals for the Children ' s Home. The Club is now in the process of making scrap books and will make 100 tote bags for the hospitals. Directing these activities are Barbara Brown- lee, president; Debbie Williams, vice-president; and Gay Irwin, secretary- treasurer.
