Senior Y -Teens Barbara Brownie e, Pat Murphy and Judy Bales visit with Mrs. Bullard at Hiahvieiv Nursing Home. Y-Teens, sponsored by Miss Hice, is another of George ' s service clubs. It is directly co- ordinated with the central Y.W.C.A. Y-Teens members have participated in the annual af- fairs held at the central branch such as the Fall Festival of Nations and the Hanging of the Greens. The Y-Teens goal of growing in friendship with all peoples is admirably ful- filled by members who tutor underprivileged elementary school children under the direction of the Teenage Service Corp. Several girls have also spent many volunteer hours at neighboring Highview Nursing Home. The club has recently divided into junior and senior groups. The Junior Y-Teens is composed of eighth and ninth graders and Senior Y-Teens is made up of upperclassmen. This allows the girls to choose service projects fitting their capabilities. The club is a chapter of National Co-Ed-Hi-Y and is under the supervision of Pate Bridges, YMCA director. The club has directed a clothing drive at school for needy families in the area. Volunteers canvassed for the March of Dimes as well as helping implement the Viet- nam Christmas Cards project. A delegation for the George Club participated in the Hi-Y Breakfast at the Americana Motor Hotel preceding the Youth assembly. Members are eagerly anticipating the annual spring trip to Camp Waco. This meeting will now come to order, directs Co-Ed-Hi-Y President Lynn Nelson.
