CLASS WILL We, the dignified Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-One, of Walstonburg High School, being of sound minds and healthy bodies do hereby, in accordance with the laws of this State, publish and proclaim this to be our Last Will and Testament. After having this phase of our education, we wish to dispose of our properties in the following ways which seemeth wise in our judgement without having taken advice of councel from anyone: PART I To dear old Walstonburg High, we leave our honor and devotion which will protect her through the years. PART II To our Principal, Mr. Peeler, and to our Superintendent, Mr. Davis, and to our Faculty, we leave our sincere thanks and appreciation for what they have done for us in the past. PART III Each Senior has a personal request for certain things to be willed, without regard to past favors or disfavors, as follows: BETTY GAYE leaves the title of Tobacco Queen to NETA SUTTON. WESLEY COBB wills his sports ' abilities and position on the Basketball team to TOMMY NORVILLE. DELMA WOOTEN bequeaths her high scholastic rating to KATHLEEN STRICKLAND (Thomas ' sister). EUGENE BEAMAN wills his curly black hair to BABE HARRELL and DWIGHT NORVILLE. JANE FIELDS leaves her ability to hook a man to MAG GAY. JIMMY SHIRLEY wills his ability to show off to BILLY DAVIS. ORTHY WOOTEN leaves her quiet disposition to the two noisiest girls in the Eighth Grade JOAN PARKER and DORIS DIXON. JIMMY COX appoints PEE WEE GALLOWAY to execute his silly laugh in the years to come. DEAN TUGWELL leaves her school bus to BILLY SHACLEFORD and the LEWIS ' STORE GANG. MAYLON SHIRLEY wills his flirting ways to R03ERT COX (Good Luck!) LOIS WOOTEN wills her pretty red hair to BETTY ANN SAWYER, since Betty Ann poured merthio- late on hers to turn it red . CLARENCE MERCER leaves his ability to make Honor Roll once during his Senior year to JUNE BUG SUTTON. PART IV To the Juniors, we leave our Senior privileges and deepest regards for their not being able to leave for another year. To the Sophomores, we leave our serious minds. To the Freshmen we leave our hopes for their success. To Miss Ellis we give our grateful appreciation for helping us over the last mile-stone in our climb through High School.
