Although the cagers lacked teamwork this year, they gained much experience in the court. This experience will be infinitely useful when the cagers go on to play LV. and Varsity Basketball in future years. The Maroon Team was lead this year by co-captains Brad Rico and Rob Taylor. Mr. Lee Miller was the coach. The Freshman Gold Basketball Team dis- played outstanding ability and teamwork in the 1983-1984 season. This is testified to by the Team's 10-4 record. The Team was coached by Mr. David DiDomenic'o.

The 1983-84 Varsity Wrestling Team, led 5 by Coaches Bill A V V,AVZll 7 Barger, Terry Arnold and 106 Benei experienced several important team and individual victories. Walsh won the Inter-County Conference Team championship for the second consecutive year. The captains of this Warriors were Seniors Kevin Haasz, john Putz and Chris Welsh. The highlight of the season was the success of four wrestlers from Walsh in the Regional Meet in Mentor. Paul Reinbolt '85, and Tim Houska '85 were District champions while john Putz '84 and Mike Seday '86 placed fourth in their weight classes. Walsh wrestling faces a bright future as demonstrated by the fine showing of underclassmen in post-season meets.
