PICKAWAY COUNTY HONOR SOCIETY To be chosen as a member of the National Honor Society is a great honor for any student. The County Honor Society Banquet is held in a different school in the county each year. Last year the banquet was held at Ashville High School on April 15. The Ashville P. T.A. planned and served the dinner. New officers were elected during the business session. They were: Linda Wilson, Pickaway, President, George Bowling, Jackson, Vice-President, Dianne Nance, Ashville-Harrison, Secretaryg Bean Stevenson, Chaplaing Larry Fu11en, Ashville-Harrison, Sergeant-at-Arms. The pupils pictured were elected from the 1956 junior and senior classes. The newly nominated members from Walnut School that year were: Joan Gorden, seniorg Larry Hines and Anna LeMaster, juniors. 44
