After experiencing lean years, the Junior High team deserves greater recognition this year after taking first place in the county tournament. The team was presented a large trophy after defeating Washington 39-36 in the finals. They were a hardworking team winning 'I games and losing 4. i 29

The Walnut Reserves fell into the losers column at the beginning of the season, but a study of the seasons record shows improvement in later games. They played 16 games winning 6. We are looking forward to this reserve team to apply their experience and improvements to put Walnut's name in the winner's bracket more often next year.
