H0wevet, clubs and organizations centered around the capitalistic ideois of competition and Hsurvivol of the fittest , can turn even the most innocent diplomacy into 0 plot and on act of conspiracy. Our good deeds and goals can become misguid- ed and we can lose sight of our volues. In governments, today even in our own democrocy, our values are being lost. The CIA. is training the Sondinistos in guerillo warfare and we are sending h'freedom fighters into Nicoroguo. Our governmental diplomacy is be- ing turned into plots, games and tactics to force our misguided views on others. Here, at Walnut Hills High, we have the oppor- tunity through interaction in clubs, ranging from bike clubs to problem solving clubs, from chess teams to Chinese club to shore our views, values and ideas. We, in o dip!omotic way can make the difference with our peers and even notions, without conspiring.
