and I have here a poem which seems to fit the occasion today which I should like to read to you now. As this our shbw boat cruises along And chugs around the bend, We graduates are all aboard Waving to every friend . With an ample cast of players We put on a nine year show, As we look hack upon each act We are sad it's time to go. As we plow into life's river From Walnut Hill's little stream, We know at last, our days of school Have fulfilled a wonderful dream. Remembering the pleasant times We had until THE IESE, We'd love to stay but realize that Our school days here are past . The sponsor of our showboat cast, Our teachers one and all, . Who oiled the roughened waves for us Deserve the final curtain call, The parting whistle, now let's sound, And to our minds it brings The warning that we .now are hound For new and harder things, Farewell we say to Walnut Hill.
