You will recall your English teachers telling you that The play's the thing, but remember that what happened on that stage—the play, if you will—represents a tiny spot in your lives, a speck of dust in the universe of time. It is my sincere wish that memories of your graduation fondly linger with you through your lives, but that you eventually realize that the true significance of what you have achieved lies not in the past, but in the future, for preparation is not for remembering but is to enhance the future. Best wishes for every success in your future. Lawrence Eggleston Superintendent Walnut High School If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.
