Remembering yet another day, you wanted me to stop and play. But l was busy, with things to do, I didn't have much time for you, or the verse you wanted me to hear, and my reply was, Later dear. My days were full of busy tasks, no time for questions that you asked. You wanted to share the things you'd learned but when you looked my back was turned. The years rushed by, I wish I'd known that you would be so quickly grown. No longer holding out to me the need I was too rushed to see. And now the toys are put away, wo've no more songs or games to play. No good night kiss or story to hear. That's all a part of another year. I wish I could go back again, relive those years as they might have been, and the little things you asked me to do. l wish I'd made more time for you. Author Unknown I

-'I There was a time when I could reach out to you, a time when I could lean on you, a time when I iust wanted to be near you. ' You were always there. There was a time when I needed a shoulder to cry on, a time when I iust wanted to sit and talk, a time when things started to get rough. You were always there. There was a time when I iust wanted to be near some a time when I needed someone to guide me, a time when I needed a gentle helping hand. You were always there. But then there came a time when we no longer felt the same feelings, we began to take advantage of each other, argue, and even hurt each other. We fell away from each other. Now as we pass in the hall, or catch each other's glances in line or in class, we rarely speak, and I no longer get that happy, tingly feeling that I used to. I hold no grudges against you or me or the love we once shared. For l'II always remember the times when you were always there. By D. M. Yamashita one, close, I v t Terrible splendor stalks through the night, Q with blinding swiftness and savage might. I Yours is the scream of bolting thunder, yours is the fame of ravaging plunder. f I A soft, thick coat shells a hard lithe tower, in your powerful presence, all others must cower. ig r Dark iungle is yours, here you are king, over birds and beasts and other wild things. sl But what will you do when the hut grows near? Wade deeper in iungle is what I fear. What must you think of man's imposement? V To murder and tame and force enclosement. ' Why do you fight to breathe every breath? Such un-godly odds will surely mean death. A salute, oh Tiger, to you and your creed! A dwindling beauty that man doth bleed.
