it . TRACE5 OF . . . MEMORYMAKING Throughout the school year, the Annual Staff may have. performed the hardest iob an campus: producing the yearbook. They learned and used many new techniques to make a different kind of yearbook for the 1973-1974 school year. The staff worked long, hard hours, starting in the summer by selling ads. The group had seemingly endless deadlines to complete, which involved taking pictures, making layouts, writ- ing copy, proofreading and the production of final drafts. Work continued into the summer to produce the supplement. The organization spent many after-school hours for the output of CAYUSE '74. A traditional staff party was held at the end of the year. An awards banquet highlighted the year's end, recognizing achievement in photo- iournalism.
