5 X 2, Z!! in 3' pus fi lt ame Da This spring a new tradition was established at Walnut. On May 4th, stu- dents enjoyed themselves during the festivities on Game Day. The dress for the day was in the style of the fifties. As greasers and bobby-soxers roamed the campus, the Thespians opened a booth to sell chili and fritos, while the Hoofprint Staff sold cotton candy. To quench the thirst from these goodies, Science Club offered soft drinks. The corral was transformed into Sadie's Saloon, where pizza and apple cider were sold by the sophomore class. All students had the opportunity to participate in bike races, The Dating Gamef' The Couple Game, and Leis Make a Dealf' The Cayuse Staff sponsored class competition in Powder-Puff Football, from which the Sen- ior class emerged victorious. fee?
