CLASS HISTORY On August 27, thirty freshmen class members began their first year in high school. Students beginning their first year at Walnut were Dale Hutson, Paul Lawther, Larry 'Brown, Jerry Moore, Don Delaplane, Grace Engle, Jean Kalman, Virg- inia Murray, Winnie Richards, and Tom Gibbons, Grace Engle withdrew during the year. Our activities during the year lncluded our initiation by the Seniors and an enjoyable party that evening, a Christ mas party, and a ralny trip to Turkey Run Sta e ra k e attribute our successful year to our fine sporscrs M Lees and Mrs. hoggle and to our officers who were ack ent, Pres ident, Denn Overdorf Vice President, Ann Nance, S 1 etary, and Sonny Ha elbaker, Treasurer.
